Robertson County is 7-0 in district and the average margin of victory is more than 20 points per game.

Let's say you have 4-5 good players but not great players. I could very easily see each one get a vote to be on the team hence the reason they have so many on honorable mention. If they had two studs then the others probably would have not got any votes. I see this happen in a lot of regions each year. Honorable mention usually only takes being on someone's list and it could very well be the last couple of spots.

Honorable Mention is a joke. I’m not trying to take anything away from kids. Just give it to the kids that deserve it. One way to eliminate that is not let coaches vote for their own players.

Ok my bad. I understand now. So other coaches voted for 5 players from Robertson? That’s funny. Again not taking anything away from the kids but come on now? I’m pretty sure somehow someway there is a person or persons with a little extra influence in the outcomes of the ballots.

How does one explain a team that has 5 All Region caliber players according to the “Coaches” votes not also be considered the TOP team in the Region? One has to think how has such a team even been beat within the Region. No other team in the Region with that much talent according to the the “Coaches” votes. I’m calling BS!!!

Their strength of schedule is horrible; their OWP (Opponents' Winning Percentage) is 38% and their OOWP (Opponents' Opponents' Winning Percentage) is 49%. That’s basically playing losing teams! Again, that doesn’t seem like a team made up of 5 All Region Caliber players.

 

This is what we know; Robertson’s Head Coach was responsible for counting the coaches votes. Robertson Co ends up with the most players voted of all teams in the 10th Region.

What a joke when u start looking at the numbers, Campbell Co has a freshman averaging 12.6 a game 80% from the line and 4.7 rebounds a game, he not mentioned at all, why because he a Freshman? Numbers don’t lie.

Yeah it’s a total sham. Looks like the small schools got together and cut a deal to pick each other’s players. We need a complete overhaul on the proper procedures to pick our all region teams. It’s currently crap.

I think McPapa, Randy Parker, Mustang, Golden Sunrise, and The Honcho Guy would make an excellent and informed committee to select the 10th Region team and HMs.
