It really does make a huge difference, not just as a facility but in the aura and attitude about the whole school and sports programs. Great to see all these Boone County schools with these new fields.

What's goin' down at Cooper? Turf!

Keeping up with this thread, I think it would actually be a pretty fun job to install turf fields all the time.

It still blows my mind that they didn't put turf down when they built Cooper in the first place.

Looking to the far right in the Boone County photo, there is a new building going up. What is that building? Possibly a new athletic training building?

I believe that is a new auditorium. I know they were going to do several building upgrades.

Hopefully they upgrade bathroom and locker room facilities at Ryle, Boone County and Conner as well.

Looking at the shape and size of the main room in the new building, auditorium makes sense.

It's a new "performing arts center". Primarily includes a band room and auditorium for the theatre department.

Those fields are gorgeous! Happy for them kiddos
