Of all the choices, this was probably the best. However, I wonder if they will stick with the pluralization of it, all the time. Case in point, PA announcer..."Now batting for the Y'alls…" If they truly want to embrace it, it'll be "Now batting for y'all…".

It's cute, it's regional and a majority of the people like it. However, I think hearing it announced and mentioned in conversation could get old really quick.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. The Florence Freedom are now the Florence Y'alls and it's absolutely perfect. I wouldn't want another name for a local minor league team. Why change it to something like the Florence Wildcats or Florence Knights? That stuff is overplayed. Give me this. Give me the Florence Y'alls all because of a water tower.

I don't care one bit about the Florence Freedom/Y'alls but I am ready to buy a shirt!
