It must be a New Year because we finally agree on something!

I thought we might agree on that. :lol2:

I thought the last TD by Bama was totally uncalled for.

If it was anyone else (besides Michigan), I would agree. It's not like they were passing or running something deceptive, it was runs up the middle pretty much over and over.

What does being Michigan have to do with it?

It's something Harbaugh would do, if he had the chance. Plus Harbaugh has taken several direct and indirect shots at Saban over the years.

I agree. Sometimes you get what you ask for. Harbaugh had it coming. Too bad Bama didn't go for two after the touchdown.

I'm trying to figure out how Michigan was in the game until the 4th. Michigan has now lost 20 straight road/neutral games against AP top-15 opponents.

That is a pretty crazy/incredible stat. You have to think that if there isn't a huge change soon to that stat Michigan will be looking for another change (Any chance they could get PJ Fleck?). As an OSU fan, do you want Michigan to get better to add to the rivalry or are you fine with things as they are? As an outsider to the rivalry, it just doesn't seem to mean as much to me, being an outsider, when we already know the outcome of the game well before the first kickoff.

I’d like the rivalry to get a little bit better. Harbaugh is just so weird, you can’t help but laugh at some of his antics/comments. Michigan still believes he’s relatively successful, he wins a lot of games, just not any big ones. I think they would trade for Fleck if they could. I think Michigan is afraid to let a guy go who wins around 9 games and they end up becoming The U.

This was no where near the worst team of the decade for Bama. The teams that lost in the Sugar Bowl to Utah and Oklahoma were definitely worse. Bama just played the best LSU team probably ever with an 80% Tua and Bama has always struggled to beat Auburn at Auburn. Let’s be honest there are probably only 3 teams in the country that any of us would pick to beat Bama. Plus what JA said. Who thought Michigan was good? Nobody.

Do you think LSU is a one hit wonder with JB?

I wonder if Michigan fans have become complacent with him due to the Rich Rod and Brady Hoke years and fear of going backwards. Just did a little research and was shocked to see how few times they have finished in the top 10 of the AP poll (6 out of 25 years).

Harbaugh 5 seasons 1 top 10 (2016 #10)

Hoke 4 seasons 0 top 10

Rodriguez 3 seasons 0 top 10

Carr 13 seasons 5 top 10 (1997 #1, 1999 #5, 2002 #9, 2003 #6, 2006 #8)

I listened to most of the first half on Sirius. Dan Dierdorf is a UM homer, I really think he believed UM would win after taking two leads. It was a brutal broadcast to listen to.

I can’t imagine that level of agony. All of my degenerate friends are thanking me today for the guaranteed -7.5 win.

I saw a stat on Michigan bowl results. I believe the record was 5-12 in their last 17 bowl games. That goes back a lot longer than Harbaugh. The facts are Michigan is performing at a high level under Harbaugh if you look at Michigan football history. Many people, including Michigan fans, have an over inflated opinion of Michigan football.

Depends on how long it takes Joe Brady to get back to the NFL or a HC job somewhere. He’s going to be looked at as a Sean McVay type that NFL franchises will salivate over.

Harbough could follow the Pete Carroll model. Carroll's first go round as an NFL head coach was mediocre at best. He coached college for 7 years I think, and came back to the NFL as a pretty darn good coach.

Harbough really didn't do a horrible job with the 49ers. It's just that he is such a jerk, management couldn't stand him anymore.

Maybe he's learned.

That would have been like asking Steve Jobs to improve his people skills.
