Not that it matters, but why didn't the clock stop when Jacobs was tackled short of the goal line on 4th down? Should have been several seconds left.

I thought CovCath's play-calling was super vanilla tonight. Really conservative.

Let me work on that one.

Closer than I expected after Highlands game at Boyle Co. a few weeks ago. That may say a lot for Boyle Co. as well. From the updates it sounded like a Highlands played with a lot of heart and didn’t quit especially with the stand they made late in the game.

Context

Always good to get a shutout on a rival but disappointing offensive performance from CovCath, but one that was to be expected because of the intensity of this rivalry.

Is pass interference only a first down if the yards get you the first down? But still thought in the end zone was first down.
