Memorable state final performances

One of the best performances was in the 2006 Class A State game with Michael Vicars having over 300 yards of total offense and 3 TD's (one the game winner)

Brandon Berger of Beechwood had a great 1991 Class A final against Pikeville. He rushed for 3 tds and had 271 yds in rushing. He always saved his best games for the big ones.

Kasey Clark in 2005 and 2006. In 2005 he had 196 yds rush and 4TD and in 2006 he had 80 yds rushing and 120 yds recieving. That's pretty impressive.

Actually the KHSAA stats show he had 190 yards rushing in 2005,

 

78 yards rushing and 114 yards receiving in 2006.

 

Either way I think you are probably right, it deserves mention for great performances in the finals in both years. :thumb:

I'll always be partial to that Trinity center who also played a little defense and made a certain tackle in 2005.

David Jones: 27 carries, 176 yards and 1 TD

 

Add in their team and individual stats from 2003 and you have a very impressive back to back performance in the big game.

With 1:09 left in the game, Ludlow leads 7-6. Heath has the ball in Ludlow terroroy when Gary Wooley of Ludlow intercepts a Heath pass to ensure the Ludlow championship.
