Highlands will shake this one off after getting 2 running clocks the next couple of games, and then will have their confidence back by the time CCH rolls into Ft. Thomas on the 18th.

Why would Highlands have zero respect for Boyle County? Did something happen or is that just pregame hyperbole?

I thought the general consensus of Highlands fans was hoping to hang and maybe pull off the upset?

 

It’s probably something coach said just to get the kids hyped up.

My guess it is just coach hype lying to pump the boys up.

Just coach speak.

IMO Highlands has the defense to beat Cov. Cath. The offense unless changes are made can't beat Cov. Cath. The QB just slinging it deep and hoping his receivers run under it will not work against good teams. He has a good arm but I feel they need more 5-10 yard passes instead of the homerun every time.

 

#1 for Highlands need to play some offense. Maybe not every series but I feel he could help the offense greatly. I'm sure there are other players as well. Highlands is a good team that I think can be even better.

This is just a general offensive philosophy of mine that is not restricted to HHS. The slant/tight end over the middle is the most underutilized play in football at the high school level.
