I would like to see a Bell Co. and Boyle Co. matchup at Bell Co.

Boyle would have liked to have seen Bell in 2004 ...

Yes, I was hoping for that.:thumb:

Mercer County v. Lex Catholic-Newly created school/football power was criticized for being much larger than schools in its class and for a flaccid schedule. Lex Cath, like Cov Cath, X, and Highlands, has a reputation for playing anybody, anywhere, anytime. Why not?

I heard that Lex Cath is still looking for a game or two. Maybe Mercer should contact them and schedule a game. Won't Mercer be 5A next year and Catholic will only be 4A.

You can bet that I'd love to see a Trinity/CCH matchup. I've always wanted to see a big event that featured Catholic schools both from Kentucky and perhaps elsewhere playing Trinity and St. X at Papa John's.

Year 1:

St. X vs. Cincy St. X

Trinity vs. CCH

Year 2:

Trinity vs. Moeller

St. X vs. Lex. Cath

...you get the picture...

Is Mercer playing up? Based on this year's enrollments, that doesn't seem to make sense.

Teams that should play each other (just a few cases):

Paducah Tilghman-Marshall County ... Marshall dropped the series two years ago.

Mayfield-Murray ... won't resume now that the teams are in different classes. No reason for them not to play each other.

Trigg County-Russellville ... this was one of the area's oldest rivalries. I suspect Russellville ended it, but don't know that for sure.

Bell County-Middlesboro ... well-documented here.

Somerset-Corbin ... good, traditional programs, similar school size and just a few miles apart.

Lexington Catholic vs. any Fayette County school ... also well-documented here.

I heard a rumor that Mercer may be playing Lex Catholic in the Bob Allen classic next year. I heard that earlier this season.

I think that Mercer plays Corbin in it next year with Danville playing George Rogers Clark. Im pretty sure about the Danville game, but not so much about the Mercer game besides the fact that Mercer plays in the BAC to open up next year

Plus Lex Cath has their own bowl where Mercer played LCA this year

How about a Monster Bowl with T, X, HHS, and CCH?

Think that would sell a few tickets?

I vote for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know which would be better...the games or the the tailgaiting!!!

Why don't you work on that with all your connections. :thumb:

You know after coming up for that gig at Paul Brown...I actually made this recommendation!!! So we will see!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I wish Russell would have picked up the LC game, instead of Lawrence or even Raceland, the 2000 game was great.

I think they did for 07.

I would love to see a Saturday of games in Bengals Stadium. With one of the games featuring Trinity vs Moeller or CCH.
