July 23, 20197 yr Weak. Surely Cal could out something together better than this. How many other schools play six Power 5 Conference schools out of conference?
July 23, 20197 yr How many other schools play six Power 5 Conference schools out of conference? Not to mention CBS Sports ranks Michigan State #1, Louisville #4, Texas Texas Tech #13, and Ohio State #21...
July 23, 20197 yr Any idea when the games in Vegas will go on sale? I've been looking since May and still haven't found anything.
July 24, 20197 yr Weak. Surely Cal could out something together better than this. UK's strength of schedule is usually one of the best in the nation. I think we will look back at the end of the year and this schedule will be right there.

Jan. 25. at Texas Tech (SEC/Big 12). The Louisville game is in Rupp. Overall, a pretty good schedule. As far as season ticket holders go, probably not worth the price although Louisville helps. I'm curious if the home schedule improves once the Rupp Arena renovations are complete.
July 24, 20197 yr Author Not to mention CBS Sports ranks Michigan State #1, Louisville #4, Texas Texas Tech #13, and Ohio State #21... Those are the only out of conference schedule games they will have problems with. The rest should be cake walk. Like I said its weak.
July 24, 20197 yr The Louisville game is in Rupp. So....not a single road game in the non-conference? Interesting.
July 24, 20197 yr Those are the only out of conference schedule games they will have problems with. The rest should be cake walk. Like I said its weak. Pretty much the same type of schedule every team has...most have only 1 or 2 decent out of conference games. UK at least has 6.
July 24, 20197 yr So....not a single road game in the non-conference? Interesting. Texas Tech game is on the Road I think.
July 24, 20197 yr Texas Tech game is on the Road I think. After conference play has already started, sorry, I should have been more specific. It very well may be, but in late January, UK will have already played a road SEC game at that point.
July 24, 20197 yr Those are the only out of conference schedule games they will have problems with. The rest should be cake walk. Like I said its weak. Weak to the eye, but hardly weak comparatively.
July 24, 20197 yr Author I get it. Most teams water down the schedule some but I would have swapped a Duke, UNC, Indiana, Baylor, Kansas, UCLA, Cincinnati, Michigan with a couple of those smaller teams. But hey that's just me I guess.

But hey that's just me I guess. That would be awesome, but do you think these teams are looking to do the same? It takes two to tango. It wasn't Calipari saying, "hey, let's play Lamar instead of Duke."
