Iglesias walked the leadoff hitter. That makes like ten walks tonight.

Iglesias pops up the next hitter and Bell takes him out for Lorensen. That that is interesting.

Lorensen gets Flyout and a strikeout and this one belongs to the Reds. Igelsais has probably tore up the clubhouse by now.

Good win for the Reds against a team leading their league (and tied in all of baseball) for the most wins!

I have said often that if I were a big league manager, I would let my relief pitchers know if you walk a batter leading of an inning, be prepared to be yanked. I wish Bell would have pulled him after he walked the leadoff guy in the ninth.

:lol2:.....got no one to blame but himself.

When watching game, clip I saw no one (Redlegs) pat him on rear or give him a "high five". He just walked right by everybody to the clubhouse. I think his days are numbered here, JMO.

Very glad the Reds started out the series with a W.

Mother Nature is killing me the last couple of day and I think it will the next couple too.

Yeah it doesn't look great. This weather is something else. There's rain in the forecast for something like 9 of the next 10 days.

Call me crazy, but I miss George Grande and wish we still have him over Thom.

At least George knows the game.

3-0 Reds after the first.

2 first inning homers and a Votto double off Verlander

Question are we happy or mad at Votto after his double? He didn't hit one of the homeruns, and didn't have an RBI on his double. So should we be happy with his double, that ultimately allowed him to score when another player hit a home run to get him in. Or should we be unhappy with Votto because he wasn't the one who hit a homerun or got an RBI? We have heard how him not getting out, doesn't really matter. That he has to hit home runs or RBIs to matter.

Okay, you're crazy.

If he's batting 3rd or 4th, then people expect the "glory" stats (HR/RBI). But, if he's 2 for 2, with a couple of doubles...he's doing just fine in the number 2 hole.
