halfback20
A lot of you seem to think NFL teams loved Haskins. The Broncos, Bengals, Dolphins, Raiders, Giants all passed on him. The Redskins could have traded up to get him but waited. Many people say several teams liked Jones better. We wont know about these picks for 2 years at least. doomer
I'd rather watch paint dry or grass grow.
bugatti
The reaction at MetLife Stadium was pretty funny when the Giants selected Jones. That said, I do not wish that type of pressure on anyone. And we can say about every single draft selection, "we will not know if it is a good one until two to three years down the road," but the Giants recent moves make you take pause with any decision they make; even more so a QB decision that nobody saw coming. You all got the Senior Bowl MVP and a kid who was headed to Princeton to play, he’s Fitzpatrick at worst.

John Anthony
Boogar on KSR right now. Is he pulling a Seth Greenberg, hot take publicity on TV, then back tracking to the KY audience? Or is he owning up to his words?
Voice of Reason
The team I think is getting off the hook is Oakland. They over reached for every pick they made. Gruden and his staff are going to be hailed as geniuses or idiots in the not too distant future with the picks they are making.
futurecoach
Drew Lock fell to the Bengals and they traded back instead. I really hope neither Haskins or Lock end up being stars or anything. Or else the Bengals literally just let both of them go to keep Andy Dalton.
Voice of Reason
Bangles trade their 2nd round pick to Denver who uses it to select Drew Lock. If someone gets the details on what the Bengals received, please post it.

Money is basically slotted in the NFL draft these days. So wouldnt really have changed much financially no matter who they drafted in 2nd. Plus he took Carson first overall to sit for a whole year. So that kind of goes against your statement.

Yeah that was like 15 years ago and we had Jon Kitna because Akili Smith was a bust lol. Time to join present day Mike Brown. It’s only a family business. You actually though Mike was gonna invest into a QB while paying Dalton 15+ for two years?
