April 26, 20197 yr Author Giants select Daniel Jones, QB Duke. Wrinkle #2 on draft night. Many said the Giants liked Jones but at #6? Jacksonville on the clock.
April 26, 20197 yr Sounds a little high for Jones. Depends. If he takes over for Eli next year and is their starter for the next 10 years,it’s a good pick.
April 26, 20197 yr Jaguars waste no time. Josh Allen! Detroit up at #8. Top 3 guy sitting there. Bargain.
April 26, 20197 yr Depends. If he takes over for Eli next year and is their starter for the next 10 years,it’s a good pick. You think he’s a 10 year starter?
April 26, 20197 yr Why does the team with the first pick need to use the whole clock for their pick? Is the NFL/TV telling them to wait to add time and drama? The talking heads have to pontificate... I’m with you there. No reason to have a clock for the first pick. Just start the draft with the first pick. Agreed, it's dumb and about TV time, nothing more. It has picked up though which is nice.
April 26, 20197 yr Author Depends. If he takes over for Eli next year and is their starter for the next 10 years,it’s a good pick. I heard an analyst commenting on this. He said if you feel a QB is first round worthy, then don't wait to take him.
April 26, 20197 yr Author At #8 the Lions take the TYE from Iowa, T.J. Hockenson. Buffalo on the clock. Getting close to Bengals time. Some good names still on the board. Bengals pick is getting harder to choose. I think Denver takes Haskins.
April 26, 20197 yr Gotta love the shots at UK's coaching abilities when Josh Allen gets picked simply because of his athletic ability.
April 26, 20197 yr Author At #9 the Bills take Ed Oliver, DT Houston. Denver on the clock. That may be a quick pick. Surely they won't pass on Haskins. Or do they like Drew Lock? Will the Bengals take Montez Sweat? I don't think they ever thought he would still be on the board at 11.
