November 20, 200619 yr Well when I first started it, I thought the game was at USC, but then I went back and edited it, and well..........that's why you shouldn't do those things. Here I'll make it easy: Michigan blew out ND at ND If USC doesn't do that, then what does that say about them possibly being in the NC vs. UM? Lets see here when ND played Michigan nobody knew how good they were. Henne hadn't shown much at all in big games before, and their receiver was alright but no one had any clue he would be this good, and well for that defense no one at all could have expected them to be that good. Plus UM was the underdog in that game and had revenge on their mind. So with all those things it sure makes it easy to see why they won by that big of a margin. I not saying at all ND would win if they played again, but I will say it would be alot closer than the first game. So comparing how much USC would win by over ND to how much UM won by is not a good comparison at all. If you really want to compare things, then you can take anything away from all the ranked teams USC has played this year...
November 20, 200619 yr Well I guess advantage USC because they lost to a bad team. Why won't you look at that one??? I look at that one GT, but I also look at all the other games that they have won and it being against good competition. Then if they end the year by beating Cal, and ND to go with all the other good wins they have had this year, then it would be a shame if they dont get their chance at OSU... USC though is the only team that I think that should get to play in the game before a rematch. Because even though I dont want to see a rematch, UM would deserve to go to the game over either ND, UF, or Ark...

You lose to the only good team in your league and finish second in a league in which your other 9 members lose 28 of their 29 games against teams ranked in the top 25. The teams on your schedule have combined to win 3 out of 27 games against ranked opponents. The 3 big wins are Vandy beating #16 Georgia (now out of the top 25), ND beating #19 Penn St (now out of the top 25) and Indiana beating #15 Iowa ( now out of the top 25). Still you remain the consensus #2 pick in the BCS. Michigan has beaten noone who has beaten noone but because they are #2 in the BIG TEN they supposedly are head and shoulders above everyone else. Sorry but if you aren't #1 in your conference you are not entitled to play for the NC period. Close only counts in horseshoes. Although I am a Michigan fan, you make a very good point.

November 20, 200619 yr Funny how Wisconsin is forgotten as the #8 team in the BCS... Which is an outright joke. Played one ranked team this year in Michigan and lost. Only played 3 teams all year that had a winning record. The Badgers at 8 is foolish.

November 20, 200619 yr Author It is very possible that people can justify having OSU play USC in the game and calling it the National Championship. If USC wins out they would have had a great resume on their schedule, and would very much deserve to be in the title game. While UM had one good outside of conference win and then the rest of the wins came against mostly weak Big 10 teams this year, and when they played the only other good team in their conference they lost. While if USC wins out they also would have a win over ND, but also wins over other good teams... The difference between U of M and USC is that USC lost to nobody, and U of M lost to the best team in the country.
