With 2:18 left in regulation and a man advantage after pulling their goalie, the Wild's Kevin Fiala scored wrist shot off a face-off to tie the game 4-4 at Bridgestone Arena, last night. The game was the back end of a home and home, the Preds winning Saturday in Minneapolis in a shootout.

 

In a seesaw battle, Craig Smith, Brian Boyle, Roman Josi, and Viktor Arvidsson scored the regulation goals for Nashville.

 

After a scoreless overtime the game went to another shootout. Neither team could score in the shootout the first 3 rounds, but Ryan Johansen repeated his heroics from Saturday night in the 4th round with an mirror image of the move he made Saturday night. Same move but to the opposite side of the goal, past Devon Dubnyk, this time. They got the same protest from the Wild bench, too.

 

With Tampa Bay beating Winnipeg, the Preds move back into 1st place in the Central.
