16thBBall Fan
Congrats to Frankfort! A legitimate question is the Frankfort gym up to specs to host a regional tournament game. I personally think so for one game but it was being discussed at the 42nd final tonight.

strongopenyon
The Panthers are very good. Scott County at Frankfort in first round of 11th region tournament? Maybe.
TheDeuce
Why wouldn't it be? I agree, why wouldn’t it be? It’s one of the bigger gyms in the region.
4 Quarters
Why wouldn't it be? Have you been there lately, sorry to say but the building just has not been very well kept, and where do you park.
gchs_uk9
Have you been there lately, sorry to say but the building just has not been very well kept, and where do you park. The only region tournament specifications on the KHSAA site are for hosting a region tournament. In a situation where district winners host the first round I'd assume they follow the same requirements: a) satisfactory capacity within the gym to safely accommodate past (five years) and expected attendance numbers; b) A minimum of four dressing rooms if double headers are to be played; c) An officials dressing room; d) Adequate parking for projected attendance; and e) meet the published site selection criteria for basketball as posted on the KHSAA website. https://khsaa.org/handbook/competitionrules/bkcompetitionrules.pdf

Very little parking, so get there early.
Hip-Hop Box
There is parking in the back of the gym and on the side.

TheDeuce
Have you been there lately, sorry to say but the building just has not been very well kept, and where do you park. You question whether it can host a regional game without ever being there. :lol2: It’s a high school gym... Are you just upset your team doesn’t get to host?
