offside
Just got back in from Lexington. Some random thoughts: 5) The Lonesom Polecat formation by the Knights was fun to see. It seemed like their regular offense was doing well and I'm not sure why they went to it? Jeez, this is gonna sound yankie-fied: What's the "Lonesome Polecat" formation? offside
ochenta siete
I think CCH had like 750 total yards!!
Big Blue 2010
Will CovCath travel well with this game? If I know anythig about the "With a spirit that will not die" they will!
covcathftball
Jeez, this is gonna sound yankie-fied: What's the "Lonesome Polecat" formation? offside It's when only the center and both guards stay in the middle of the field by the ball in their traditional spots, while both tackles are split out wide looking like recievers although they are inelgible. There is either a reciever or tight end on the line next to the tackles on both sides. Finally there is a "stick man" on both sides, usually a reciever, who is off the line and between the tackle and other reciever.
Crossbar
Phenominal. One of the best HS games I've ever been to. OFFENSE, OFFENSE, AND MORE OFFENSE in this one. Revere is the real deal. He caught pass after pass that I predicted to be interceptions. LexCath's QB was very shaky on a few passes, but Revere made them into big plays. LHS's QB did a very good job on a few passes, but some seemed to be put in the middle of nowhere. CCH offense came out to play tonight, the D did pretty well, but Mr. Revere made them look like swiss cheese. Keep it up Colonels don't lose focus, and congratulations to LexCath on a very fine season, no head hanging here.
stick1
WOW it's always awsome when these two hook up! Caldwell, Revere, Hancock and Locknane will forever be a huge part of the Lex Cath history. Those guys will one day be legends around there! Congrats to Cov Cath. Cov Cath/JC is a VERY intriguing matchup. I've seen Cov Cath last year and JC this year.

cshs81
It's going to take forever and a day to get to PAINTSVILLE not Johnsonville like those....let me hold my tonuge before I get in trouble on here...announcers from CovCath. They were ALREADY saying that Johnson Central doen't want any of the CovCath offense. I have always been supportive of announcers being "homers" but when you go so far to belittle another team and say that they don't want someone and you don't even take the time to learn where a school that you may play the following week...well then to me thats uncalled for. . Easy, Statman. "Belittle" is a bit much. They were simply commenting on how strong this offense is. Your EKY is coming out.

MJK3490
Did anyone see the fumble by Josh Bleser? To me it looked like he was clearly in the endzone before him fumbled. This would of easlily locked the game for CCH if it was called a touchdown.
Offcentre67
What a great game, to bad I had to leave early due to prior engagments  Congrats to the Colonels on the win, but don't let up, I remember my junior year and we thought we had a cake walk to the finals and were subsequently beat, play every play like it's your last. Congrats also to the Knights, you all had a heck of a season. How many games do you score 49 points and still lose? You all have nothing to hang your heads about, this game could have gone either way. Revere is better than anyone ever let on. I must say I was a little dissapointed in the polecat spread that every fan on here kept shrouded in secrecy :irked: My dad who did see the entire game was standing in the endzone and he thought it looked like a TD, but wasn't completely sure. Thanks for the stats kissinger:thumb:
