Johnson Centrals D coordinator wouldnt sleep much this week.

 

Jim Matney, Glenn Reeves, Tony Burchett, Stewart Cook, Paul Patterson and the rest of the coaches will have JC ready for battle... trust me.

I would like to say it was nice to meet a poster from Rockcastle County tonight at the game. Doodle you are a nice person and knew alot about your team. Keep in touch on here. :thumb:

I wonder if they can figure out how to get "Johnsonville"? The announcers said that out defense would not be able to stop their offense. That our d coordinater would not sleep all week.

 

Would the flip side of that coin be that our offense can't sleep because we're looking forward to putting 49 points on them as LexCath did? I don't mean that, of course, just pointing out that anyone foolish enough to believe the announcer's view of our defense's plight would also have to accept this as truth.

 

We'll have to see if we can slip some good Johnsonville brats on the grill at the Nest next week to honor our visitors--I enjoy the German food whenever I am in N KY.

Congratulations to Johnson Central. They were the best team in the region and have a nice home game for the semis next week.

 

For Rock, they had a great season. I know this is dissapointed for them considering they were dominated by seniors, but they are a great program.

When JC went 5-25 over 3 seasons, I thought the program was all but over. THANK GOD I WAS WRONG!!

 

Now they are 28-6 over 3 seasons. Having a undefeated regular season, winning the district title, regional title and playing in the state semi-finals. I think I can say this and nobody will get mad,

Shocked by this score after hearing the voice of the Ashland Tomcats say on radio last week that there was no way JC would beat The Rock.

First let me say that it was a pleasure to have finally met you Graybeard and it was also nice to met you Painter as well, although I wasnt expecting to. Next week, Ill buy the burgers.:thumb:

 

Now for the game. All I can say is WOW. I really anticipated a hard fought slobberknocker that would go down to the wire but JC just came out and dominated all the way through. This was JC's best game of the season, and this is the time when you need them. How about that JC defense. The were focused all night and really beat down Rockcastle. The secondary came away with 5 INT's which was amazing. Shawn Grimm was unbelievable tonight. 270+ yds against a run defense that many thought was invincible, and to think this kid is still just a Junior. Miller was all that he was built up to be, a hard nosed runner that never stops.

 

I want to say congrats to Rock on a great season. Now Eagles, you have another chance to make JC history next week, but its going to take another effort like this to get the job done. You are a special team and will find a way to once again silence all the doubters.

You should have seen the little goomer throwing his little fit in the press box last week. That would have been well worth anybody's trip to Johnsonville.

First of all, congratulations to Coach Matney and the Johnson Central team and fans. I was wrong earlier in the season when I said on here that you were not good enough to win the region. You obviously proved me wrong.

 

Now go out and take care of business next week and earn yourself a berth in the State Championship game.
