Wow not one vote for a 11-2 team at home in favorable conditions?

You had the shot and didn't take it. I see you voted for CCH. :lol2:

I just figured a Pulaski fan somewhere on here? I’ll change my vote....

I couldn't tell for sure, but were the sprinklers on today?

Doesn't matter.

If a fat kid had a race on sand against a track star would it matter that it was on sand and not a solid surface? Answer is no. These are athletes. Covcath will survive in the conditions they are faced with. Talent and coaching wins games

I think the Pulaski County passing attack will be an interesting match up against Covington Catholic. If am designing an offense to attack CCH with, I want an efficient short passing game focus. Attack CCH at the corners. Looking at the stats, it looks like Pulaski could do that.

If that is the offense you need to run to win the game, do you want that on a field with good footing or is a field with tough footing better?

How big are the corners for CC- grant it you do not have to be big to be good and I'm sure they have plenty that are good.

Pulaski does have some size with their WR's though.

Which side of the ball will give PC the biggest problems-- CC offense vs Pulaski defense or CC defense vs Pulaski offense?

Personally, I think the weakest spot on Covington Catholic's defense is at corner.

If the KHSAA moved the game to Cov Cath and a player from PC tore an ACL, would the KHSAA be responsible?

Pulaski QB if given time, can pick apart a defense with short to medium passes. I think Pulaski's biggest issue will be stopping the CovCath offense.

Knowing from first hand experience when Cooper had to travel there to play in the Semi-finals in 2014, this field is HORRENDOUS!! Let me be clear, CCH should and most likely will find a way to win this game but I can tell you that CCH will not have played anyone or at anyplace with worse field conditions as this field makes Cooper, Conner and Boone look like the greens at Augusta. It's mud, pure mud and this is a big home field advantage for the Maroons. Not to mention the atmosphere they present can be somewhat eye-opening. With players coming out for pre-game in cowboy hats, sleeveless cut off flannel shirts and blaring country music does raise some eyebrows. CCH should be experienced enough to handle it but make NO mistake, the field will have some impact on the game.

Are you going to give the VOR game plan on how to beat CovCath in this thread?

Talked to a Pulaski parent they don't recall ever seeing that...but yeah that field is a mudhole.

Field actually wasn't in too bad of shape when Cooper came down and got beat back in 2014...compared to last week this looks great.
