UKFan16
O.K. you bunch of homers (Raceland man); pick someone from outside of the school you are rooting for. For instance, Vic = St X Beaumont = Male Ammons = Franklin County Revere = Lex Cath Minnifield = Henry Clay Running back (went blank) = Highlands :flame: Better yet; let's break it down by the best players in the state at each position. The name you went blank on was Kramer but very good pick

Not so much a homer as sometimes the small school boys are not seen. This thread will probably be taken up by Northern Kentucky or bigger schools. But i will put in another vote for Matt Thomas and although Greenup's out of playoff's Aaron Rowe.

According to the paper these boys are a couple of the best in 1A.
time2punt
Dalton Cissell - Sophomore RB North Bullitt -- Another "homer" pick but this kid finished with 2100+ yds rushing as a sophomore. Only 1 game under 100+ yds when he was injured in 1st matchup with Louisville Central (74 yds). Over 9 yds per carry. 3,200 yds rushing in 1st 22 varsity games. Will be a Mr. Football candidate in 2 yrs. A stud in the making.

True blue (and gold)
From my district: EJ Fields - Frankfort Rich Witten - Danville And my "homer" pick, if you want to call it that. I think that the stats will speak for themselves: David Bird - RB - Trimble County: over 1600 yds rushing (9.7 yds/carry), 25 touchdowns this season. tcjkbt
After reading this thread, I don't want anyone griping about the AP all-state teams. What's the word --- provincial?
coldweatherfan
Chris Lewis at linebacker and Freeman Edwards at safety from Mercer County. Brandon Ford at running back and Cory Jackson at running back from Mercer County. :dancingpa I agree on all 4 :dancingpa
Brewsky
I'm not sure AP has a spot for FB, but if they do May from Belfry has to be in the running.
