oldram
Emanuel Taylor RB Hopkinsville: 1,954 yards averaging 10.8 yards a carry. Became Hoptown's all-time leader rusher this year, broke the single season rushing record and last week broke the school record with most yards in a single game with 279 yards on 28 carries. What is even more impressive is that he broke all of these records by only playing to years of organize football. To add more Hoptown has started three O-linemen all season who weigh less then 175 pounds each. If there is a better back in the state than Taylor I sure like to see him. I love this post. The fact that size shouldnt be the only factor is always a plus. The lineman at Raceland sometimes are overlooked for nominations due to their size. They also average between 190 to 240 at about 6 foot tall. Good for Hopkinsville.
FOOTBALL PRIDE
The Western Backfield deserves some credit. Justin Collins has over 1800 yards with 25 tds. and Ronnie Dardin finished with 1850 yards, 500 rec yards and 24 total tds. and Brett Norman had over 1000 rushing, 1100 passing, and 20 total tds. HDE
You guys have to make some choices on your own teams. It's not very likely you'll get three or four players from one team.

just 4 fun
QB-Adam Shelton of Mayfield has to be a consideration for All state,.His stats aren't going to be as impressive as a Tandy or Ammons, because Mayfield is a typically run oriented team, but, maybe he could get 1 of those athletes positions..He's the bread and butter that makes the Cards tick with his passing, running and leadership ability.. pallex32
Becham Herald in my opinion is one of the best running backs in the state. Without him the Breathitt Bobcats wouldnt have won 5 games. He was Mr. Everything to them. He was amazing to watch in the few times that i got to watch this season. He not only ran the ball for the bobcats but he also was a major player on a young but tough defense! He should get a few votes.

cshs81
Here's who I say should be considered for all-state from NKY. I'm not well versed on all of the linemen so I may have missed some deserving players: Scott Wise Kyle Kramer Clay Cecil Shane Popham Kurt Bovard Joe Castenada Sam Flynn Corey Farris Vince Murray Josh Bleser as a punter . Pete Sutton I'm torn on Brandon Brown from CCH. He doesn't make it at any one position but he surely deserves some consideration.

cshs81
Did you mean "Jordan Kramer"? I don't know a Kyle Kramer. Oops. Yes, indeed, I meant #4. I really have no idea who Kyle Kramer is. However, if he runs like #4, add him to the list.

Son of Bear
Trent Calhoun RB/DB and Braxton Miller RB/DB from Lincoln Co. ............I know its a homer pick but both are very talented on both sides of the ball. Probably the best 1-2 punch backfield in the state.
