The Shamrocks get a rematch with Male next week.

Rocks getting some of their players back at the right time. I hope the weather cooperates next Friday at Male. Their field gets muddy if it rains. Go Rocks!!!!!

By my count Ballard got only one first down. They could not block Trinity.

For those interested the two Indiana teams - Warren Central and Carmel - that Trinity lost to early in the season have advanced to the Indiana 6A championship game next week.

Hard to fathom what Ballard’s coaches were thinking for condoning that garbage, but then again it is Ballard.

What did Ballard do pre-game? Not that anything would surprise me.

They did not enter the stadium on their side of the field. They gathered in the end zone directly behind Trinity’s team. Looked like they were taunting the Trinity players. Put the banner they run through directly next to Trinity’s. Never seen anything like that.

I honestly am not the kind of person to usually harp on that, but that is pretty indicative of the T-Ballard rivalry.

 

T-X is our biggest rivalry, but T-B is our nastiest. There is no love between those teams at all.

Trinity is not easily intimidated. Trinity may lose (6 of their first 7 this season), may play poorly (5 picks vs. Naperville), but they will not be intimidated --- especially by the cheap junk Ballard tried to pull. Coach Beatty won't allow it. He told the players on the field at half time not to retaliate (to the point of being ejected) because he needed everyone for next week's game.

And that is why Ballard is Ballard.
