I agree, Dark Horse. JC is solid in most aspects of the game and their O & D lines are certainly not an exception to this exceptional team. It's games such as the one ahead of us that makes football at any level exciting...aint it great!

:thumb: yes it is great i cant wait till friday night when the Eagles and Tomcats:fight:

Actually, that sign is posted in Cannonsburg.:p

Wrong...The Sign posted in Cannonsburg says "Closed" :thumb:

Smashmouth was born in Ashland years ago my friend.:thumb:

The only way to play a physical team is to be more physical than them.

JC has a super team,I hope the Tomcats show up and give JC a game.:thumb:

I’m with you Jericho51 – this game (as most) will be won or lost in the trenches by the big men! I hope the Tomcats play every down like it’s their last, give their all, and hold nothing back.

I can’t wait.

I look for the tomcats to leave it all on the field,I look for them to play like they did the Russell game.:thumb:

If truth be know, it says "Closed for remodeling - Under new management". The County will be back and strong on the football field in 07.

I have a feeling about Friday night that we will see a different Ashland team. I think these boys now realize what is at stake and they will hold nothing back. This team believes in itself as does the community and they will make us proud, win or lose.

Great weather is expected for a great football game.

I can't wait either, Graybeard.

Johnson Central BELIEVES they are going to beat Ashland. JC knows what is at stake as well. They (JC) know that they can beat Ashland because they have done it before. Matney will have his team and coaching staff ready for a battle.

There are several players on this team which BEAT the Eagles in 05...that said, these Tomcats know they can beat JC as well....

There are several JC players on this team who played on the team that went 1-9. All of them know that this team is not that team, nor is it the 2005 team. Unless Holbrook and the other graduated seniors is plan to suit up tomorrow night, Ashland's chances of winning appear to be about the same as they were entering the previous match-up, which was also played in 2006.:D

If Ashland wins - it will be a major upset.

One more day and I cant wait! We should all expect a great game out of two hard nosed teams. It is always hard to beat a good team twice, but if anyone is capable of doing so, I believe this JC teams is. They appear to be getting better all across the line at the right time. JC knows, as well as Ashland, what is at hand with this game. I believe this JC players would love nothing more than for them to be advancing on in the playoffs and to send the Tomcats home getting ready for B-ball. But JC cant have another first quarter debacle like they did last week against BC or they may be in for the fight of there life. Expect "The Nest" to be rockin tomorrow night and packed to the brim with the great weather we are going to have. If you cant get amped for this, then you need to check your pulse. Good luck to both teams tomorrow night with an injury free game.

Will you be doing the play by play on BGP? Good job last week!

Thanks for the compliment. But I hope to get to attend this one. If something comes up and I don't get to go to the game I will try to keep everyone updated on BGP.

That '05 win has to have Ashland feeling very confident.

I agree 100%.

That was one of the most dominating performance I have ever seen.:D

 WHATEVER, it was a district championship win!! What I do no is out of the 7 times we played JC 5 out of 7 victories is dominating. No matter how you slice it.:D

Correct me if I am wrong...but I believe the players involved in tomorrow night's game have taken part in only two of those games. And, the record stands at 1-1. Also, out of those two games there was only one dominating performance and that belongs to JC to the tune of 35-7.

Tell me, how do those other 4 wins have anything to do with this game?

;)
