Boyle Co. works a little "Rebel Magic" and sends the Warriors home wondering what just happened...will be a huge crowd, but Boyle has been in this situation way too many times the past 8 years or so; they find a way to win this one by 10.

Josh Miller will score at least twice and a big trick play early puts the Rebels up to stay!

Rebels 28

Warriors 18

The Warriors have proven year in and year out that they can run the ball on anyone. I think they will be able to this week also, however I think Boyle Co. has a lot they want to prove and I am affraid this game means more to them than it does to SW. SW may already be happy with the year with the earlier win, for Boyle to loose would be a disaster for them. They need this win to get some swagger back or they could slip for the next couple of years. Turnovers will determine the winner, I think Boyle will win by a touchdown. I hope they do not, I would love to see SW advance. I think they can give teams trouble running the ball and with their D. They maybe one of the most under rated teams in 3A. Good luck warriors

Turnovers will determine the winner

I agree that the team with the most turnovers.......will lose the game. :thumb:

....and Southwestern had 5 last week. Fortunately Pulaski had 8 :scared:

Boyle will have to play their best game of the year to date on both sides of the ball to win. Best of luck and may the tradition continue!

I'm rooting for the Rebels, but they'll have to play better than this past week!!

For some reason, we just can't consistently make it happen for a whole game. Sometimes, it seems we're afraid of the ball (punt returns, kickoff returns, etc.), we're confused by the offense (secondary lapses, etc.), we're stuck in a rut (run it up the middle, AGAIN), or we just miss the play (not enough pressure on the opposing quarterback, etc.). Regardless, I want the team to give it their ALL this Friday night. It's win or go home time. You've worked hard this year, faced a lot of adversity and made huge strides towards keeping the tradition-building alive.

No matter the outcome, keep you're heads up. If you've played your best and given all you can, there's no shame in the loss.

Here's to this Friday night's game. May it be a good one for all the right reasons.

GO REBS!!

Boyle Co. in a squeaker, 24-21.

I am going to go the other way and say SW 21-17. Go Warriors!!!

Last week I picked Boyle to gain revenge on Southwestern and eliminate the Warriors and this week....I've changed my mind. I think Smart has shown he can carry the load in the backfield and I'm going to pick the Warriors to move on to their first regional title game 28-17.

Turnovers will determine the winner, I think Boyle will win by a touchdown.

I too think the outcome will be decided on who has the less turnovers. I agree that SW can move the ball on the ground but the Rebs defence has shored up a bunch since their first meetin. I think they will bend but not break. SW did not get the oportunity to see Mr. Tamme in the first meeting and I don't think they will be interested in meeting him Friday nite. Not that he is all of their offence, but it is a percentage. It will be a very hard fought game which the first one certainly was not. SW has the advantage of the home field but may not have the home croud unless the Warriors gets out and recuits some roudy supporters. Final line is that the Rebels takes game two by a touchdown, 28-21...Go Rebs......;)

Listen,I don't want RebelK or anyone else think that I had jump ship, I'm still a Rebel fan and will always will be. I'm just trying to be a nice guy here, don't want to hurt anyone feelings. So how about this for a prediction, the game will end in a tie, after about a dozen overtimes or so and both teams move on in the playoffs. ;)
