A little more then 48 hours away before the big game.Is anyone besides me getting nervous about the game? I have been nervous all week on this game.

What I don't like about this game is that someone is going home for the rest of the season and that's sad. When you have friends on the other side its makes it hard. With that being said, whoever wins, Boyle or Southwestern the best to you the rest of the way and on to the State. I will be pulling whoever wins this game to go on. Good luck to two of my favorite teams.:thumb:

i think boyle wins this one

Boyle County-21

Southwestern-17

Did Wes Hampton play in the first matchup between these two teams? If so, what will the effect of him not being able to play have on this game?

In the first matchup The Hampton kid only had 117 yards rushing, but 95 of those yards came from a long run before halftime. He was not that big of a factor in that particular game. However Southwesterns leading reciever Matt Robertson did not play in that game either.

Rebels 14 Warriors 31:bunny:

I think the Warriors pull it off, I just think Boyle will stink it up and play bad ball again.

Friday will officially end the one of the Dynastys up in titletown.

Southwestern is going to miss Hampton more on defense in this game.. In the first Boyle game he had a pick and defended several more passes very well.. With at least two more defensive starters out for the game some young kids are going to have to step up and play well...

If I was Southwestern I'd hang this article on the board and let it just sit there and fester. If they want to prove a point it's not going to be tonight is what I'd say. Cut this out and hang it on the wall WARRIORS and just keep playing like you have.

I didn't read any "bulletin board material" in that article. Boyle's coach talked well about Southwestern, he correctly pointed out that they had a really bad game and fumbled 8 times. He also mentioned that they had a couple of players out.......All he did was say that Southwestern had a tough offense to defend against and active linebackers that gave Boyle fits. He did say that he, his team and his staff did a poor job against Southwestern the first time. No insults at all, if you're using this article for inspiration at this point you're probably in trouble. Just getting to play Boyle to go where no Warrior team has ever been before should be enough. Make no mistake, Boyle's coach paid the Warriors plenty of respect in his words, find the inspiration in yourselves and go win the game.

Like AverageJoe, I am also struggling to find the "board material" from this article. The coach is respectful and gives credit to a tough SW team. I agree with the previous post....it shouldn't take an article (a poor choice of one at that) to hype either team up for a district championship.
