Sounds to me that a lot of people expect St. X to make the changes to win this game and Male to not do anything different. In the first game, the conditions changed and the results were effected. The ability to scramble was hampered dy deteriorating field conditions as well as a change in the approach St. X took in rushing the QB. The game plan will be key and I would bet that the same deep balls that were completed by St. X may be a little harder to come by this time around, IF Male makes some adjustments on D.

 

All things considered, I believe Male wins this one like they Should have won the first meeting.

Nothing would....except that Redman normally doesn't adjust his gameplans. So if it isn't in now, it won't be on Friday. I think Male is very good, but they aren't the best "game" coached team, and they don't have a ton of horses, to go a full, physical 48 minutes.

Sure, but the deep ball has always been there (except 2000 ) against Male...

Look at prior playoff films. The short pass was taken away, including the screen.

How long has it been since Male had a QB that was a threat to run? It's not easy to contain a running QB and take away the screen. St X is planning to just play 11 on defense, right?
