Any word on the injuries for the Rocks?

 

I think that was the cause of this loss. The injuries to the top 2 running backs hurt tonight. Before the injuries, Trinity was able to run the ball very well.

It didn't help, nor did the injury to Dingle but they were still in a position to win. I wouldn't put this one solely on the injuries.

Wow, what a game! Warren Central looked like a mid major college team. Their linebackers were beasts in going to the ball. Trinity did what they had to do-worked it outside, made WC miss tackles and took it in. A lot of big plays on both sides. I thought Trinity had it wrapped up after stopping them on 4th down. I thought QB moved well in the pocket. I only heard T LBs mentioned once. Moeller won 27-14 over a team from Ontario tonight. Referees trying out the 7 man mechanic again in this game. 2 missed calls but with all of the big plays,overall they did well. Yes they stepped oob and yes, there should of been a defensive holding on Lawrence but that was a big game with a bunch of big time fast athletes.

I just about can't believe this score. When I left home this evening, Trinity was up like 21-0 and absolutely cruising.

Two missed calls ? Those calls were HUGE!! One stopped a TD for WC that the D back grabbed the jersey of the receiver and held onto it for five yards. Every person in the country saw it except the refs. The other one caused a 4th and 2'' instead of a first down. Other than those two calls the refs were good.

 

I hope all the injured players are ok, and recover quickly.

I should have said this already, but if Stephon Herron isn’t in the coversation for Mr. Football, he needs to be.

On notice? I don't think there's a 6A team in KY that can touch Warren Central (IN) or Carmel other than Trinity.

 

I am not so sure about that on Carmel.

I have like WC since they beat Elder, at Ryle years ago. Have to say I am happy they got the win.

Trinity looked small, was it just the fact I was watching it on TV?

Didn't look good for the three they lost tonight. And one of the top WR's didn't even dress. Not sure and can't blame loss on injuries but man tough night.

Coach Beatty had many interesting comments in the courier journal article this morning concerning the second straight Trinity loss of the season. I would urge everyone to read it, and comment.

Clock management has cost Trinity 2 games now. That's on the coaches. The Rocks could just as easily be 2-0. If they continue to play as hard as they have these first two games though, they will run roughshod over in state opponents. I think T gets a much needed win next at Moeller.

Tough game last night. I'm so impressed with Trinity's offense, they operate with surgical precision and really weren't near as talented as WC. Tough for me to say but with most most high school coaching staffs Trinity is not even in that game. Yes, we all know now they should have run the ball and punted but hindsight 20/20.

X fan really impressed.
