Was/Is Jefferson being looked at by any colleges?

Yes, UK, Louisville, UC, Marshall, Kansas, Texas Tech and a couple more little schools like those are all looking at him, but not sure where they are in the recruiting process considering he's out right now with a broken foot/ankle.

Was/Is Jefferson being looked at by any colleges?

Duran committed to Kentucky to play football.

Austin may not avg 10 boards but he will be a special player to watch and the biggest offensive producer in the region. He is a slasher and glides to the hoop. With increased strength... I don't see anyone stopping him.

There is no doubt that Hill is a very good player and probably is the best player in the region this year, but 25/10/5 is absolutely great.

Difficulties? I'd call it a meltdown!

Amen to that, You can overcome difficulties, but meltdown that is a different story.

And that is where he will remain committed and will be next year. End of story on this one.

I think Duran will work hard to stay in shape and get back on the court as soon as possible to help the Dawgs. But I otherwise agree. He's a smart young man and isn't going to risk a full ride in a heroic but foolish attempt to get out on the court before he should.

Does anyone know if Duran will tryout for Basketball at UK?

HAHAHAHAHA:lol:

Why not? They allowed a skinny kid from NCC to walk on. No offense to Krebs but after watching the Cats last night.... I think any kid in the bluegrass who can make the State Top 15 player list has a shot to make the UK Squad.

DJ and Krebs would or would not make the team for completely different talents. Krebs will/did make it because he can shoot (and he's not skinny anymore) while DJ would make it as a PG.

This is sad:cry: Doesn't say much for 9th region Bball.

I don't follow. What part is sad?

HAHAHAHAHA:lol:

Care to elaborate? Duran is better than some of the kids that have tried out and made UK's team. He would be a great kid to have on the team just for his ability to help the team in practice. And after watching Bradley play point last night they could use some help.

I hope you are not saying that DJ is as good or better than Bradley, are you?

Because if you are, than that would be funny.

That one player dominates conversation about the whole region. Is the kid good? Yea. Is the 9th region so poor that all we have to talk about is him? Guess so.
