Bulldogs will need to play tough DISCIPLINED basketball no matter who's in the lineup to make it to Rupp. Too often I've seen Holmes teams self-destruct. To be a great team, players need to keep their cool on and off the court.

This is the last go around for these boys playing together. That should be reason enough to keep it together and have a great season. I hope these boys are disciplined enough to make it through this final run.

You are wrong... Jeff Vories was player of the year he was in Rupp Arena on the floor at the state tourney when they honored all of the regional player of the year awards. I was there, I witnessed it so there you go.

 

On to Austin Hill who will win this year's POY award so maybe it was foreshadowing on your part. He will be on the floor in rupp this year.. he is the best player in the region. nuff said

The award you're talking about can only to to a senior, therefore POY doesn't make a lot of sense. Maybe SOY would be more accurate.

 

Case in point, Lofton and Rondo neither won this award as juniors. Now, who in their region was better?

IMO: he will be around 16-17 points, 5-6 rebounds, and 1-2 assists.

With Rice in the Lineup, that looks more legit. But we all know Austin is capable of averaging a double double...He will be an absolute man amongst boys this year.
