What a weekend!

Tiger shoots a 64 on Sunday, but is going to come up just a bit short. Driver completely let him down, yet he still made a run.

Koepka doing what Tiger did 15 or so years ago, just out driving everyone.

If Tiger doesn’t struggle off the tee, he wins today.

Golf is Tiger Woods right now. If Tiger playing well can draw attention to just how good guys like Koepka, DJ, Spieth, Thomas are then that’s great for the game.

He’s getting closer. He probably won’t get to Jack’s number, but Tiger will win another major or two.

There was a time yesterday when you had Koepka, Woods, Fowler, Speith, Day and Thomas all within 4 shots of each other. (And I think DJ was just 2 or 3 back from that). Usually you only have a couple in contention, but to have all of them...THAT was great golf.

Tiger's play yesterday with his irons was something I thought we'd never see from him again. The accuracy he had when he was able to find the fairway was unreal. I really hope that is the Tiger we will see more often than not. If he can get his driver figured out I think he could go on a run.

If I was Tiger's caddie, I'd break his driver :lol2:

That said, it was so much fun watching him scramble on the front nine and kill it.

It was great to see him back mentally tough for four rounds. Tiger has had great rounds but he's always had a round where he fell apart...not this week. That's my take away.

Watched for a while late afternoon and I think there were 10-11 people between 9-11 under at that time.

Tiger has never went into the final round trailing the lead in a major and ran someone down for the win.

That was Tiger's best final round in a major in his career.

What was he like 4 under on the front 9 and didn't even hit one fairway. How is that possible.

3 under on the front but still. His ballstriking with his irons is back to the level it was in his prime. Arguably the purest ballstriker in the game still. Dude just can’t hit a driver to save his damn life and still doesn’t have the old confidence standing over a putt.

8 or 9 straight one putts helped.

I’m a believer that Tiger will win again. But he’s going to have to adapt. In the old days when you have a lead, you leave the Driver in the bag and just try and par out. These guys pull out Driver every opportunity now no matter the lead. Koepka pulled Driver up 2 shots with everyone in the clubhouse on 18 and busted it 340. That’s what Tiger is up against. His A game now is not better than everyone else’s. His A game is on par with everyone else’s A game. He would have 2 majors this year though if his B game was as good as everyone else’s B game. That round on Thursday killed him.

His missed opportunities Saturday cost him the tournament IMO. If he's matched with Koepka it's different story.

0/9 on fairways, still only 10 putts on nine holes. Silly.
