Protests mean absolutely zero to me. I honsestly do not care either way. RTS you can tell me how to answer. I support anyone's right to protest. The reason does not matter. I do not support a complete gun ban.

?? I'm not trying to tell you or anyone how to answer. How you feel is your business and completely up to you.

I would not support a protest during the National Anthem. To me it's disrespectful.

I also don't support banning any guns.

I also think protests should be able to have a clearly defined message. Protesting during the anthem blurries the message because so many people take it as disrespect and that they are protesting America instead of protesting the injustices African Americans face or a gun ban.

I agree protesting during the anthem has blurred the message.

As to the question, the current protest doesn't bother me and has no impact on my view of the players protesting. If they want to protest, fine. If someone else wants to protest that guns are banned, fine. I am just watching football and don't care what happens in pre-game protests.

To add to my last post, years ago I went to Talledega, Alabama, for a NASCAR race. It was my second trip there. A man and woman sat behind me and during the anthem, they said racial slurs throughout, because the singer was a black woman (she was the current Miss America or Miss USA). I certainly didn't enjoy that anthem experience.

But at least they stood and respected the flag, right?

IMO the two minutes of the National Anthem are not about me. They are about the sacrifice made for our rights. The least I can do is give those two minutes that respect.

How will I be able to differentiate between those protesting and those who just aren’t paying attention or wouldn’t stop talking, laughing and carrying on any way?

It was a similar type of scenario that actually caused me to change my mind about this type of protest. It basically boils down to the "reason" versus the "protest". And yes, I do think if there was a "reason" that was deemed worthy enough, that you would not see the type of uproar that you have right now.

That being said, I don't know if it would be the first type of protest that I would think of starting myself. Also my beef with the current protest(s) is more focused on Kaepernick's other actions (pig socks, Castro shirt, etc.).

How will I be able to differentiate between those protesting and those who just aren’t paying attention or wouldn’t stop talking, laughing and carrying on any way?

It will be hard, as both are being disrespectful.

Very confusing poll is what I meant. Needed more choices.

That's not respecting the flag or the people that fought for it. I have a feeling that's all too common at a NASCAR race...

I thought it was a pretty simple yes or no question so to speak. What other choices would you suggest?

Just like said above- there is a time and place to protest. During the national anthem is not it.

Using Old Glory draws attention to you and your brand. Twitter protest are only for the people who already follow and regurgitate your thoughts on a daily basis already.
