Birds lose 4-3 to the number one team in Ky in a game no one thought would be played. Birds were winning 2-1 after 6. In the top of 7th, St X scores 3 to go up 4-2. Birds plate one in the bottom of the 7th and strand one runner. Birds had plenty opportunities to win this game but lacked timely hitting and defense lost focus.

 

Drew Rom went 6 2/3rd innings, 13 K’s, 5 hits, 1 BB, 2 earned runs per game announcer. Hunter Dreves closed. #16 Ryan Nicholson started for St X. #2 Keller came in relief then closed by #3 Sweeney.

From PBR: Ryan Nicholson went 2-for-3, and Alex Adams and Noah Nelson both had an RBI in the win. Leighton Keller pitched 2.2 innings to get the win in relief.
