Open Job: Mason County

If Steve Wright is indeed on that list of those that have applied he has the best resume of everyone who has been mentioned. State champion, 5 or 6 regional championships.

Be careful when you only look at a resume

Ask SWPC football coaches for an endorsement, bet they wont endorce him.

I am not advocating for Steve Wright I was just stating the point, his resume would be better than most that apply.

The AD and Principal are now both were Multi-Sport athletes in High School, are now advocates for kids to play multiple sports and both have been coaches of multiple sports at MCHS.

This won't fly, either they won't hire someone who is that way, or they won't let someone that way run a program that way.

When you are expected to be at all travel games, team camps, open gyms, or else you won’t get to play, then the teen will pick the gym instead of football.

It’s easy to keep a football kid off the field and in the gym, especially at a basketball school.

Robbie Graham did apply and was interviewed. Also was offered the job, however Mason County was not able to give him what he asked for. So next in line was a PE teacher who be Kirk, Sizemore, or Wright in that order.

Basically same story I have heard about Graham.

Sounds like a lot of false rumors floating around.

Agree 100%

Lots of bad info here. Most not close to true. I'm glad most of these are rumors because some good people could be hurt if people believed this stuff.

Agree with you 100% too.

Thank you so much for posting this. If I posted it some would say it was because I was from GRC. I will say again....... Coach Graham did not apply.

Now can we get some info on who really was interviewed?

He may not have applied but he was 100% sure in Maysville and met with them, informal or formal however you want to word it and if he didn't officially fill out an application or not then he didnt, but he did meet with them and told them what he would have to have and his demands or wishes for a better word were not able to be met so maybe he didnt waste his time applying.

I can confirm that Jeff Davis is NOT in the mix at Mason County HS.
