Jackie Ed Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Family is traveling from Ft Thomas to Dunnville, Ky to pick up a dog on Dunnville rd. Mapquest has us getting off in Lexington and working our way to Casey Co. I enjoy road trips off the beaten path of the Interstate. I’m always excited to see parts of Ky I would never see. Any suggestions on a quicker way to get there or any places to maybe eat?
Wireman Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Yes, I searched for a dead body there a few years back.
ThrillVille Cardinal51 Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Yes, I searched for a dead body there a few years back. Were you with a rag tag group of pre-teen misfits trying to beat out Kiefer Southerland to find this body?
Hellcats Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I think there is a nice Amish place to eat over there.
Wireman Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Haha I can't deny the misfits part but I was actually part of rag tag group of guys who were trying to help a family find their missing loved one.
DanvilleFan Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I drive through Dunnville on my way to Bowling Green on a regular basis. I note it for a very big curve I have to take after coming through Casey County and a gate factory or two.
Just Jim Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 We used to stop at a place called Bread of Life restaurant down that way whenever we passed through. Not positive how close to Dunnville it is, but was somewhere in the ballpark. Might be the place @Hellcats is talking about.

And yes eat there if in that area.
bulldog77 Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 You're misspelling it. It's Danville. It's just those darn accents down thar.
Rebel Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 Bread of life is like 5 miles from Dunnville on hwy 127. I eat there every time i'm in the area. Not sure of the quickest way, but if you like the country roads take hwy 127 out of Frankfort all the way to Dunnville or 27 south from Lextington to 127 in Danville.
Jackie Ed Posted April 5, 2018 Author Posted April 5, 2018 We will be going down tomorrow instead of Saturday bc the weather service is calling for a 60% chance of snow Saturday. It'll be bad enough with a 9,5, and 1 year old for 3 hours without the help of a weather delay. I appreciate the suggestions.
okie1 Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 How was your trip to Dunnville? See any gate factories?
