We did expell them. We picked 60 and said they're spies. It's another cold war. Let another 60 in, repeat the process and start an arms race that we will win. April 2, 20188 yr No one has emerged that has made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. That’s disappointing because it seems like Trump is an easy target to tackle but these politicians have all lost focus. On a national level they all make me so sick right now. I’ve paid more attention to local politics for the time being and I like what I see and hear from a Amy McGrath so far and I am super intrigued to see if Matt Jones will finally sack up and get serious about running against Mitch McConnell. And herein lies the problem. My words of wisdom for the evening. The true statesman has gone the way of the carrier pigeon. The OVERWHELMING majority of our elected officials at the federal freely sell themselves out to the highest bidder. That also applies to our appointed members of the administration (think Cabinet). Special interests pull their collective strings, and it has become blatantly obvious that in many cases, they are doing everything in their power to tear down the very institutions they oversee. Compared to most of the BGP membership, I ain't gonna be around that much longer. But in the immortal words of the maitre d in Ferris Bueller's Day Off:

April 2, 20188 yr Serious question. How in the world can a conservative christian continue to support this president? I truly want to understand,because I feel like I am living in the twilight zone. Probably my greatest shame is the way fellow believers have openly used God’s language to support a man with such lack of moral character. One thing has been made very clear - no one cares about the character of the President. Bill Clinton was blasted for his character issues and won two elections. Donald Trump's character flaws were on full display during his election and he was elected. I think Trump wins again the next election. People care about policy. Whoever they believe can put their policy choices into action, they will vote for. Conservative Christians love Trump's Supreme Court pick. That actually may have been the number one campaign promise that helped Trump win the last election and he can play that again in the next election. Trump himself said during the election he could shoot someone in the middle of the street and still get elected and he is probably right. If Trump promotes policies the right likes, even the conservative Christians will overlook his character.

That is what I was pointing out as incorrect. Several other countries responded before the US did.
