Trump supporters. Anything positive to say?

 

“He’s not Hillary” doesn’t count.

 

I'm not a supporter at all, but the only decision of his that I have approved of is his Supreme Court nominee. That's literally the only bright spot from my vantage point.

Not gonna lie... It’s pretty satisfying that Trump has made everyone that was in vocal support of him look like a fool like many of us knew he would. But hey, #MAGA right?

Ugh. Always hated that show even though I am a John Goodman fan.

To bring something positive to this thread, as disappointed as I am with the entire political landscape, this is still the greatest country in the world. I don't care who the President is.

 

We only have 3.5 hours. Nobody has time for this.

Our country will never be great again if both parties don't stop opposing EVERYTHING the other side believes in. We need a strong 3rd party, but the current 2 have rigged the rules to make it almost impossible for another party to gain strength.

The answer is that the first priority is winning. You then rationalize away anything you actually said when supporting your candidate. It's human nature.

This in my opinion would be a sin.

Huh? You do understand that we don’t really have many allies right now? Truth be told Russia is probably our only ally and that’s because Trump does what Putin tells him to do. It’s painfully obvious.

 

We have plenty of allies, who is everyone going to call when a militia or military disturbance happens.

Yeah, two dozen countries just expelled Russian diplomats after the UK and USA led the way. I doubt they all hate us lol.

We need a strong 3rd party or more true independents. The blind and unwavering loyalty to your party is how you end up running Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

I also hated Rosanne when it was on years ago. Thought the subjects they covered broke down too many walls and lowered our morals. I did see the new show and it seems like she has switched from liberal to conservative?.....

Serious question. How in the world can a conservative christian continue to support this president? I truly want to understand,because I feel like I am living in the twilight zone.

Probably my greatest shame is the way fellow believers have openly used God’s language to support a man with such lack of moral character.

 

I’d say my largest beef with Trump being elected is that he is easily the one president in my lifetime who has zero moral character. The man literally is every -ist you can think of and people who will quickly tell you that they are a proud Christian will defend him in the same breath. I remember when racists weren’t cool or allowed to show their true colors outside of their living room.
