April 2, 20188 yr Lets just talk about how dumb Trump is. We can agree on that. You’re right. :thumb:
April 2, 20188 yr Trump as a presidential figure is a failure. Trump's policies are not. Some of the things he has done, I am fine with. Deregulation - If there is anything that has been a boon to the economy under Trump, this is it. I believe government has become too intrusive and an impediment. For me, this has been the biggest success of Trump's administration. ISIS - No, Trump does not get full credit for "defeating" ISIS. He continued policies that Obama already had in motion. But he did continue those policies and he deserves some credit for the success against ISIS. Economy/Stock Market - This is another item where Obama was having success. However, Trump's favorable business policies (deregulation) and his tax cuts have increased the economic growth of the 8 years before Trump took office. Average GDP growth Obama's last 4 years was a little over 2%. Trump got that up to 2.3% in his first year and it will likely be 2.7-2.8 in 2018. Give Trump credit for adding another notch up to the economy. Trade - I do think Trump is making moves that will be positive on the trade front, and he is bucking his own party in these actions. The shame for Trump is all of his other shenanigans drive the media coverage of his administration and over shadow the positives that are happening. All this is very debatable. Most of the regulations I read are not helpful to the average American citizen. What Trump has undone - The Washington Post The next 2 of the 4 are as much Obama as Trump. Trade and the upcoming tariffs can’t be positive unless you work in the metal industry.
April 2, 20188 yr Frankfort police shutting down Capitol Ave. tomorrow with the expectation of 5000+ Sewer bill marchers tomorrow. Talk about a worthless bunch...
April 2, 20188 yr YES!!!! The UK should lead the way. So don't say and the USA led the way. Do you think that the UK consulted with the USA prior to expelling the diplomats? I do and can't really think of a reason why they wouldn't considering Russia threatened them after even mentioning that they believed Russia was responsible for the nerve agent attack. So if they did, wouldn't that be a joint effort, with UK leading the way?
April 2, 20188 yr Maybe it was a metaphorical wall... Trump thought if he showed his rear enough, people would stop wanting to come here.
April 2, 20188 yr Where does everyone stand on states breaking Federal laws on sanctuary cities? Are you in favor of breaking the law?
April 2, 20188 yr Maybe it was a metaphorical wall... Trump thought if he showed his rear enough, people would stop wanting to come here. I tried that at work years ago. Doesnt work, the customer is always right.
April 2, 20188 yr Where does everyone stand on states breaking Federal laws on sanctuary cities? Are you in favor of breaking the law? I see why they do it. It’s not a high priority when they have bigger fish to fry.
April 2, 20188 yr They’ll probably pass it off to the State Police. Maybe they’ll try to lock the doors again. :lol2:
April 2, 20188 yr Where does everyone stand on states breaking Federal laws on sanctuary cities? Are you in favor of breaking the law? I feel like it's the same as legalizing marijuana was as well as speed limits that are well above what the feds allow. The risk is you may lose federal funding, if your voters are fine with that then go fo it.
April 2, 20188 yr Do you think that the UK consulted with the USA prior to expelling the diplomats? I do and can't really think of a reason why they wouldn't considering Russia threatened them after even mentioning that they believed Russia was responsible for the nerve agent attack. So if they did, wouldn't that be a joint effort, with UK leading the way? The UK expelled Russian diplomats on its own a couple weeks before any other nation. Several days after Britain had already expelled Russian diplomats, the USA, France and Germany made a joint announcement with Britain blaming Russia for the poisoning. Facts. Interpret them however you want.
April 2, 20188 yr Where does everyone stand on states breaking Federal laws on sanctuary cities? Are you in favor of breaking the law? What laws are being broken?
April 2, 20188 yr What laws are being broken? I would guess immigration laws......maybe none, there seems to be alot of issues with it.
