In my opinion Pulaski and Mercer without a doubt have the best 2 players in the region. I also think Boyle has the best balance in the 12th. And as stated previously, Boyle has yet to play their best ball.

The Rebs are effective at grinding games out. Their motion can hybrid into an effective stall late in games. Nothing wrong with that in HS basketball. Best first round game IMO will be Somerset vs. Wayne.

I agree. This game has the potential to be a great one IF the Admirals believe they can win the game, stay poised and play unselfishly.

If I were a betting man I would prob give the edge to Mercer or Pulaski but there are 4 or 5 teams who could put 3 or 4 good games together and win the region. I also don't think any team in the region should count the first game as automatic. Any of them could drop the first one.

I just don't see Danville beating Mercer Co. personally. Danville plays better when the game is sped up, and I think stylistically Mercer plays that game better. Also, Faulkner in the open floor is a nightmare for anyone to contain.
