It was 21-7 at the half I think.

Truth. I honestly didn’t care about the draw a whole lot. It looks like Mercer got the best possible draw to the finals but I could see them losing in any round just like I could see them winning the Region. As a Boyle County fan I knew the Rebels road to Rupp would likely include having to defeat Pulaski County or Mercer County or whatever team that may defeat those two along the way. If the Rebels bring their A game all three games then it won’t matter who they play. They’ll be at Rupp.

This GRC fan is pulling for Boyle Co to win it all. I want to see Baby J play at Rupp.

I was afraid of Danville drawing Mercer if they didn't win the 45th on Friday. However, the only time Danville and Mercer played was when the Ads were missing all the football players so there's not much stock you can put in that game. I'd love for the Ads to pull the upset, obviously, but they have a hard road ahead. Still, it is great to be back in the region tournament!

 

And if the Ads can't win then I'm rooting for Boyle in the upper bracket.

I think this game will be a very good game. There is no reason why Danville can’t win this game. It won’t be easy but they are definitely capable of winning if they can play unselfishly and keep their composure. They have the talent to win it.

I expect a great tournament. The key to me is how do the opposing teams of Pulaski defend Fitzgerald, and can't allow him to get your perimeter defenders in foul trouble. 11th officials generally "let them play more" so I think this could potentially be a factor. Traditionally, you see a lot of driving into bodies foul calls made in 12th Region across the board.

In my opinion Pulaski and Mercer without a doubt have the best 2 players in the region. I also think Boyle has the best balance in the 12th. And as stated previously, Boyle has yet to play their best ball.
