MJAlltheWay24
Has Diallo really done much since the emergence of SGA? SGA has been extremely reliable for the Cats since mid December. Sucks he made mistakes down the stretch last night.
MJAlltheWay24
I am not sure I saw a moving screen on either call against Gabriel. Anyone think those were accurate?
MJAlltheWay24
And are we still okay with calling Greene awful? He definitely isn't elite but the kid can play and will be an asset for the Cats for a few years (what so many Cats fans want).
rookie57
Its been a long time coming but this will be the last post I see from ya. All the best. Your WAY behind me.

I thought the rock star players were much more fun than the glorified Tubby players, which are providing Tubby results. Every game goes down to the wire. He is what he is and most times that's not bad. He's the most reliable outside shooter the Cats have right now. Of course I don't know that is really saying a lot. Sucks he made mistakes down the stretch last night. I think it's either one of two things concerning Diallo: 1. This is the limit of his basketball skills. 2. He isn't working hard on improving his deficiencies in his game.
LongTimeReader
Tough game to watch. Offense is very stagnant, unwillingness to rotate the ball is killing them because it doesn't allow for easier, open shots at the basket; instead, they're settling for tough, contested shots. This team is full of potential, which when your philosophy is built around "Succeed and Proceed" isn't a good word. The "dude" for this team, Knox, has played like that one time, other than that he has played like a typical freshman which has lead to a number of losses. This team will be a difficult out come SEC and NCAA tournament, but hard to see them make a typical late season run if Knox continues to be a non factor in games. Diallo reminds me of Liggins when he first came to UK, now if he can adapt to becoming a defensive specialist the way Liggins did, he has a chance to be an NBA player. 4chs
I am not sure I saw a moving screen on either call against Gabriel. Anyone think those were accurate? This UK team does not get the benefit of the doubt on very many calls. Maybe it's because they seem to be physically weak and not very aggressive as a whole, at least it seems to me that the more aggressively a team plays, the more calls seem to go their way. I think he's a nice complimentary player and I'd imagine that he'll only get better and tougher with a few years on him. Just seems far off from awful, whomever was calling him that a few weeks when he was coming off missing a few games.
MJAlltheWay24
Can you all imagine that team if we didn't land Knox? Which for a while there, many recruiting pundits didn't think that he was coming our way.

But I have to be honest, Knox just doesn't seem as engaged when the other team roughs him up.
UKMustangFan
Could get real interesting for the Cats in the next couple weeks. Absolutely have to win the 3 remaining home games against Bama, Missouri, and Ole Miss. They do that, and avoid a 1st rd exit in the SEC tournament and they'll be in. I'd venture their chances of stealing one of the 4 remaining road games (@ A&M, @ Auburn, @ Arkansas, and @ Florida) are slim to none.
