October 18, 200619 yr Off the wall, but I would throw a bunch of money at Mike Shanahan. UK persued him at one time and there was some interest. After that, I would persue Tedford from Cal once again. Kragthorpe from Tulsa would be a good candidate. It has to be someone realatively young or a big name that has instant recognition. Preferably someone with southern ties.

October 18, 200619 yr Here's another off-the wall name being kicked around as coming to the college ranks...Jeff Fisher. He won't be back with the Titans and Miami, Fla. is expected to make a big push. Wouldn't be surprised to see Pete Carroll back in the NFL replacing Fisher with the Titans. Jeff Fisher....marketable name, been to the Super Bowl, and has southern ties.

October 18, 200619 yr Larry Coker may be out of a job after this season. He has had his problems at the U, but its a big name who has his nose in the recruiting market in Florida. A lot of people would criticize that choice, but I think in a new environment, it could help him.

October 18, 200619 yr To follow along with a lot of Big Blue Posters and the Big Blue Nation..... Give him a contract extention.... everything is great.... Hey we have won 3 games.... We were supposed to lose at LSU... Need a couple more recruiting classes to beef up the D...... Lack of scollys has been a detriment to the program..... We will be "improved".... "we will win 6 games minimum"..... We still get 40 + K for home games in attendance.... We were not ready to play but we will be Sat 10/21.... We have to learn how to crawl befor we learn how to walk.... We don't have goals to run, walking is good enough...... We are imnproving..... everything is just fine ..... and we support our coach 110%..... He is our man....... If there was ever a no brainer in a coaching decision, this has to be it..... I just cant see what Mitch sees........ What has changed over the last year..... In all reality .........Nothing......... Same ole, same ole... When I think about a plot of the program it is definitely DOWNHILL AND NEGATIVE SLOPE...........
