Here's another off-the wall name being kicked around as coming to the college ranks...Jeff Fisher. He won't be back with the Titans and Miami, Fla. is expected to make a big push. Wouldn't be surprised to see Pete Carroll back in the NFL replacing Fisher with the Titans.

 

Jeff Fisher....marketable name, been to the Super Bowl, and has southern ties.

 

Getting rid of Jeff Fisher would be about as stupid as drafting Vince Young over Matt Leinart...

Larry Coker may be out of a job after this season. He has had his problems at the U, but its a big name who has his nose in the recruiting market in Florida. A lot of people would criticize that choice, but I think in a new environment, it could help him.

 

If you can't win at the U you will not win at UK.

Brooks needs to be fired but they will give him one more year, unfortunately.

Chuck Smith is a legend in KY High School Coaching, but UK's linebackers (Smith is linebacker coach) are horrible. They have experience (Woodyard, Schuler) and young talent (Micah Johnson, McGrath, Braxton Kelly), they just can't tackle. I think Smith is on the hot seat too.

I think the organization showed they are backing Fisher when they got rid of Volek early in the year with whatever it was that went down there.

Although, not really involving the topic of this thread, I agree with bellalumi's post. The Titans have a good coach and are committed. Allowing the growing pangs with Young at QB just enforce that.

If you apply the same standards as we do to Tubby well then no he's not. The Miami program is on the decline. After the stupid remark he made in the paper about the brawl I don't know mentally stable he is.
