Possible All-State recievers in 06'

Featured Replies

Montrel Williams, Seneca, had 7 catches for 128 and 3 touchdowns last week. I've seen him alot and I find it hard to believe there is a better receiver in the state.

Macon plays on a team that runs a lot more than it passes even though they are passing more than they normally would. I would dare say that Macon's numbers would be top 5 numbers if he played for Boyle County or any team that passes the ball 25+ times a game. UK didn't offer him a scholarship as a sophomore for nothing.

Leonard Macon is a talent; the kid is raw with unbelievable upside...6'5" 220 lbs; deceptively fast for his size (I think that he has 2 rushing touchdowns, both over 60 yards or so).

John Cole from Somerset is unbelievable-not a lot of size but the kid can flat fly and catch the ball as good as anyone that I have seen.

I like Matt Jennings from Trimble Co; I agree that he is very underrated and would love to see him on a team that threw it to him on average about 10 times or so a game....frankly he outshined Macon in their matchup last Friday night.

I like the kid from Henry Clay, but the one that I am thinking of if I am not mistaken is Shane Boyd's brother (#7)?? Big tall kid with range and can run for a big guy...I think that he will be back next year.

Wes Caldwell has D1 offers.... any other receivers on that list?

Antwain Loving Hopkinsville 6'0 185Lbs 4.5 forty. Antwain did not play the first four games because he broke a school rule from last year but has made a hudge impact the since he arrivial. Broke the school record for most TD's caught in a single game and is averaging over 100 yards a game. I haven't seen alot of receivers across the state and I'm sure there are alot of good ones but you be hard press the find one as skilled as Loving. Finished third place this summer at the senior camp at Louisville for receivers this past summer. Antwain is very physical and has soft hands. Antwain is a good student which makes him one of the best prospects in WKY. Several long time supports of the tiger program think that he might be the best receiver in the school's history.

Brandon Griffin- Campbell Co.... not just because he has had a fabulous year but his performance last week vs. Boone over 10 catches.....299 yrds.... that was very nice. Give him props....

I'll take Trinity's receiving group over any team in the state. Flynn, N. Dutton & A. Dutton should be mentioned in this thread. GO ROCKS.

John Cole is very, very good.

Man, I know you're not getting hype over this kid because he got a scholar ship to U.K. Now if he got one to a top 25 program then that would be saying something;)

Cole without a doubt.

Aaron Boyd is a good athlete, but has no hands. His teammate, Jeter, is the best WR I've seen this year.

Benji Mullins-Raceland

Leading receiver for the Rams who are scoring over 38 points per game.

Wow, the last I heard not many kids get D1-a football scholarships. And I heard KY was in the d1-a and sec, yes they are not UofL but I think it's great if a kid gets to play football on national TV, his home state, oh and yeah gets his college degree for FREE!!!!!!

wink back at ya;) ;) ;) ;)
