9 times out of 10 people that post these threads are people related to or have some sort of affiliation with a possible candidate. It would probably work out better if you would give your thoughts on the subject.

And WELCOME TO THE SITE!!!!!!

I agree, but then again, that is what the site is for, no need to bash the kid or dad or whoever.

It will be interesting. Clay County has a couple WR's with huge numbers! But they havent played great competition and arent as good as some of the better WRs in big time programs. It should be interesting to see what happens.

I think the Griffin kid from Campbell has to be in contention, he is definately having the best season in NKY.

The kid from Somerset.

Kayiotas - Beechwood. Deadly combo of speed, height, leaping ability and great hands. Everything one needs to be on an All State team.

Hazard has a senior(Colby Hoskins) who has a lot of talent and is quick with probably the best hands of any receiver I've seen this year and is not afraid to go across the middle or up high to get the ball-although he is not your typically tall receiver he makes up for it with heart and desire to be the best at his position each time out.

If John Cole from Somerset doesn't make the all-state team they should not even have one. He's leading the state in receiving yards. Here's his stats: 8 Games, 53 Receptions, 1281 Yards, 21 Touchdowns.

Rob Madon and Corey Sewell at Corbin come to mind.

What about Bovard from CovCath, his numbers are good against very good competition.

John Cole - Somerset

Chase Hamlin - Williamsburg

Here's the current stat line from KHSAA through October 12th:

I'd say if their name is not on this list, they're really not in the discussion. It's not that it's all about yardage, but it is hard to make a case if you don't have it.

And on a homer note, FWIW, Nikko Beason is an outstanding talent, and at the time of this list, was one of only two WR's on it to have more than 10 TD receptions.
