BigVMan23 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 What the heck are people thinking? Who allowed this (parents, coaches), who thought it was a good idea, and why did it take 4 weeks of play before something was said/done? https://www.yahoo.com/sports/ohio-youth-team-kicked-rec-league-offensive-jerseys-185930020.html
lawildcat Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 And why isn't anyone being held accountable for it?
MNCM Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 You can’t criminally charge people for being idiots.
Beechwoodfan Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Not one single parent on the offending team thought to question this? If my kid came home with a jersey like that he would not be wearing it.
74devil Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 When they saw "wet dreams" in the team nae you knew it couldn't be good. In the end, the coach. He could have stopped the entire thing. Can't totally let the parents off the hook either. Makes you wonder what they are thinking.
74devil Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 You can’t criminally charge people for being idiots. If you could, there would be a lot more people locked up.
plantmanky Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 Dont forget the company that made the jerseys, they have fault in this too.
lawildcat Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 You can’t criminally charge people for being idiots. I’m not talking about criminal charges.
NEERFAN Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 I'm not sure how this happens and for the life of me don't understand how it took four weeks of action before it hit the press.
Wireman Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 I read this article today and actually thought it was satire at first. When I realized it was real...I just don't have the words. This is inexcusable.
Qryche11 Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Reminds me of looking at the Men's League Team Names posted on the board at the Ft Thomas Armory years ago. Some of those 20 something's could really get creative. Sophomoric College age kids is one thing but Youth League? Terrible!
UKMustangFan Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Completely inappropriate, especially the names on the back of the uniforms. Disgusting that this was somehow allowed to occur. I also understand the team name is inappropriate for high school kids, but I'll be honest, my sophomoric sense of humor got the best of me and I laughed when I first saw it.
woodsrider Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 The team name is funny, not for a kids team but whatever. The names on the back completely inexcusable and the adult who is responsible for that needs a beating.
