Interested to see how Lamar does at the next level. Some games I would watch him and think, "this dude is going to be ok in the NFL at QB." Other times I would watch and think, "this dude has no shot as an NFL QB."

So happy for Lamar. Go get that money and prove your doubters wrong. :thumb:

Favorite Cardinal ever. We'll miss ya, GOAT.

I’m still on the Teddy train as favorite football Cardinal. If only for that Rutgers game where he was basically working with one leg and one arm and was splitting time with Will Stein to preserve his health and still rolled up 260 yds and 2 TDs.

But yeah, Lamar is right up there. I’ll miss him but it’s time. Good luck to him.

Jackson always struck me as a high charactor person.

High charactor and talent is a great combination.

I doubt he'll be on the board when the Saints draft, but would think that would be a great fit.

Brees is 38. Two years behind him and then take over.

In the right situation I think he'll be fine, hopefully he goes to a team that doesn't need him to be the franchise from day one.

Avoid Cleveland like the plague.

Lamar’s been a QB since middle school. If we’re concerned about his limited ability to adapt to that position in the NFL, what makes people think he can run a route or catch a pass, things he’s literally never been asked to do?

The "he can't play QB in the NFL" narrative is lazy, at best. He obviously will need to improve on parts of his game (what player doesn't when moving to the NFL?), but saying he can't play the position is foolish.
