Lamar Jackson Declares For NFL Draft

Featured Replies

I think he will be a Steeler or a Patriot. They both need backups and can afford the luxury to take him. He has so much upside that these two teams will do it. I can see the Saints, Giants and Chrgers, also.

He is the best of the QB's coming out IMO. LJ can be special, special, special. he needs to be one f those guys that needs to sit and learn some things. Getting thrown to teh fire on a weak team will be a problem for he or any of teh guys coming in.

Perfectly put & I agree on all points.

In the right situation I think he'll be fine, hopefully he goes to a team that doesn't need him to be the franchise from day one.

He has too or he wont succeed in the NFL.

Most recent mock I saw have him going #29 to the Steelers....

Good things like that don't happen to me. :lol2:

I somewhat subscribe to needing to land in the ideal situation mantra, but if you are a franchise QB you find a way to make it work in the NFL.

Steelers being my #2 team I'd be good with that!

He could end up in Minnesota, aren't all 3 QB's FA at the end of the year?

The NFL scouts have a extremely hard time determining which QB's are going to be successful in the NFL, so I'm sure that I have no idea how Jackson will do as a QB in the NFL.:idunno: I would like to have him on my team though.

I'd instantly switch allegiances to the Viqueens if LJ went up there and Teddy BridgeH2OI was there as well.

He should have sat the bowl game. His last college film with 4 INTs is bad timing on top of going 13/31 in it. Bad advising whoever told him to play. Was that his worst game at UL?

IMO he can eventually become a franchise QB. He need so work. Don't know if he can be that guy right out of the box.

Depending on which mock you look at, he's picked to go anywhere from the Jets to the Steelers.

The same guy who has him going to the Steelers right now, had him going #2 to the Giants two weeks ago.
