I disagree. I don't understand how one can just pick a new team. It's not possible unless they were never really a fan of the first team in the first place.

This certainly cements another year of me not attending a Bengals home game. I may watch, certainly Will listen on the radio (I’m old school) but will not cross that river to donate money to Mikey Boy. I,for the life of me can’t understand people purchasing season tickets year after year. One for all the crap that comes along with the tickets and two the blatant mediocrity from the ownership. They don’t even try to hide it and people keep donating time and money.

 

Would you continue to shop at say Kroger if half or more of your groceries were consistently stale or rotten? And even more if Kroger kept feeding you the same line every time you complained? Can’t understand but to each his own

Only the Chargers are lower because they play in a soccer stadium that seats less than 30k.

Doubtful. In 2011 when they brought Lewis back the attendance was horrible even though they were doing well. When they brought Lewis back all kinds of people didn't renew tickets. It took until 2013 to truly get fans back there. The mass exodus of season ticket holders will be even more drastic now.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Hamilton Co on the hook for any unsold seats? I for the life of me cannot grasp the concept of screwing over your fan base knowingly. If he was legitimately delusional and thought he was doing his best I could maybe give him an A for effort. But the deal Hamilton Co cut him to keep their beloved NFL franchise, tells you he is extremely business savvy and knows what exactly he is doing. He does not care one way or the other. i'd assume he'd like to be known as a super bowl winning owner but in the end it's his business and making the dollar is the ultimate goal.

 

For fans that go to the game I'd like to know how you feel when you think about Mikey Boy yucking it up with his rich friends about saps that keep donating their money to his wallet. I imagine a scene with him and his boys smoking cigars (cheap ones) and sipping Bourbon (cheap bourbon) just non-stop laughing.

From a business aspect any owner would go for a deal like that if a city would give them that deal. If you or I would owners and we didn't go for that deal we would be idiots. I have zero problem with him taking that deal. That's the cities fault for putting that part in.

 

With that said I firmly believe he truly does want to win. He may not know the best way to do it, but does want to win. Everything I read of people who worked for him also say he truly does want to win. People I know personally who worked for him say that too. Just because he couldn't care what peoples opinions are on what he should do. Doesn't mean he doesn't care. At the end of the day is he making money yes. However winning would make him even more money. So it does go hand in hand.
