Louisville because Lamar Jackson...

It's tough to predict this one but I think I'll go with Louisville.

Louisville because Lamar Jackson...

Many thought that last year too. I think it’s a tough pick based on how the season has been for both. I’m hoping for a Cards win. Regardless of the struggles since the end of last season, watching Lamar Jackson has been awesome.

Biggest concern I have is how healthy is UK? They just got the snot kicked out of them.

Was told UL is favored by 9.5......seems high to me.

Vegas typically is pretty good about point spreads. But being a Card fan No way I would give 9.5 points. Their defense has been awful this season.

This game for me is a pick’em. Here is why:

UK for some reason comes out strong on offense but puts the breaks on for the rest of the game.

UL defense has just been awful can’t stop the run or pass.

UK's defense is worse than UL's defense, plus Louisville has Jackson. Cards win 38 -30.

That feels about right, with the game never really being in doubt. I will go UL 44 UK 31.

Kentucky 31-27.

I feel much better about Louisville after watching a healthy defense the last two games. Now Kentucky is definitely better than the injury-riddled shell of Syracuse that the Cards played last weekend, but unlike last year, I feel like Louisville is just starting to play their best football at the end of the year rather than coming into the end of the year deflated and beaten like in 2016.

I think I like Louisville here.

I honestly have no idea!! I only watched UK a few times this season, but I thought they looked pretty solid overall.

Louisville’s performance the past 2 games is what I expected all season – healthy, aggressive defense and Lamar’s offense is lights out! I feel like the Cards are well positioned for the win, but since it’s the big rivalry game I don’t think any of us would be surprised by any number of outcomes.

All I ask... for the love of all that is human.... for the Cards to not drop the ball at the end of the game.... lol

Go Cards!!

Last year I predicted UofL would lose their final 3 games last season going into this game in the prediction thread. And got some flak. The focus (distraction) on the Heisman race and disappointment of the Houston loss were big. The season just seemed to limp a conclusion with Heisman being the only positive at the end.

This year seems like a very different feel on the Cardinal side. A week off that seemed to help the team get healthy; two solid conference wins; and a defense that seems much better than the first 9 games. Also, this will likely be Lamar's last regular season game - and he maybe looking for redemption from last year's game. Also its the final regular season game for senior Reggie Bonnafon and senior running back Malik Williams. Williams may not be completely 100% after ACL injury but he has been contributing with some big plays. He has taken some pressure off Lamar with his play.

Of course, Kentucky has Snell and King providing a more than solid running attack. And the Cats have a very competative senior QB in SJ. Certainly SJ wants to go out with a win in his last home game.

I am also going to put out there that CJ Conrad could be a factor. He has only 2 receptions in the last two games after a season high 5 catches against Ole Miss. Kentucky seems to forget about Conrad in their offensive scheme. But as noted above - the Cards defense - especially the secondary - has been suspect much of the season. If the Cats get CJ involved in the game plan the Cards may be caught off guard.

Going with the Cards, obviously.
