Kentucky 29 Tennessee 26

Somebody had to win.

That being said, the tendency to win the close ones is encouraging.

I am still not sure how they won. They were awful. But the result is the result, so take it and move on.

Was great to see U.K. come back and get the W ! Other / past teams would've folded when UT took the lead. Even more great to get the win over that team located 75 mi south on I75 that wears that disgusting color of orange.

Johnson is a leader, if he doesn't return the Vols win ...it's that simple. U.K. is far better with Johnson at qb. Snell had one hell of a game as well and the defense stepped up when they had to. U.K. will lose to UGA, the others are winnable.

U.K. wins, Ohio State wins .....was a good day for me. UL losing was icing.

I agree. It was a struggle but they won, something they don’t usually do vs Tennessee. And now they’re bowl eligible and don’t have to worry about that, with the exception that a few more win will give them a better bowl.

And on a side note, Knoxville is 175 south of Lexington unless you were referring to the orange of Union in Barbourville, ........just kidding btw, I know it was a typo, lol.

I've saw UK play so much better only to lose so many times, that I'm not going to apologize or feel bad about this win...a W is a W.

Cats play anywhere near like this and they finish 6-6 as both Ole Miss and Vandy will beat them going into the UGA game and Lamar alone can beat them with 4 turnovers.

Clean it up Cats, you got over a hump. Now go do something with the rest of the season.

This team has said "screw it - we can't pass so stop the run." Fortunately it was a bad Vols team and not a Mississippi State team. Riding Benny with a big saddle.

I'm still not sure if this team is very good. Fortunately they are in the East at one of the low points of the SEC East. I should have enjoyed that win more last night since it rarely happens but UT is a bad team with a coach heading out the door and a backup running back and frosh QB.

But 6 and 2 is 6 and 2 right?

10-2 is still on the table.

You all saying this team is bad are funny. This is Kentucky football where we were used to 2-10 seasons. They just became bowl eligible before Halloween.

Winning ugly is still winning.

This team is flawed and is fraudulent but to your point, they’re beating the bad teams and are ahead of them, not apart of them. That is change for UK football. Yes, they’re gonna get blasted by “good teams” Miss St/Georgia but they are clearly ahead of the “bad teams.”

I don't think South Carolina is a bad team.

Regardless, Kentucky used to lose some of these games.

Middle of the road team gonna lose to good teams and beat most bad teams. And yes I agree KY is ahead of the curve which is progress.

A middle of the road team isn't bad. I didn't say they'd be in the playoffs, but they're not bad.

Also, without the fumbles, I think Kentucky wins this one easy. I don't think they played awful, outside of the fumbles.
