Police were getting calls of shots fired everywhere, and had victims running everywhere. A video of them clearing a nearby casino proves nothing other than the fact that they did their job.

 

I think some people have exaggerated this. He was not missing, just didn't want the attention yet imo. He's apparently going to be on Ellen today.

What kills me about all of this is the conspiracy theorists saying multiple shooters different locations etc etc. Yet you have probably 50,000 plus people easily in that area and only a handfull coming forward or contradicting reports...... I guess they(folks behind the conspiracy)ID'd everyone in the area and shut them all up...... SMH

My father in law is the king of them. He drives me nuts.

My buddy was out in Vegas this week and he's a goofball, so he started asking around about different things. His exact text to me:

 

"I just talked to a Hispanic guy for about three minutes who was working outside the hotel (assuming the one where the shooting occurred) doing landscaping. I first asked him what his thoughts were on everything that happened and he told me they were told not to speak to anyone about it but then he said they were told to cover and patch up bullet holes that were out of place, which was mostly in hallways.He said they were shown what ones to patch by guys that didn't work there, but weren't cops, but how they were dressed they seemed to be some sort of law enforcement. He then said nothing makes sense and it seems like an inside job. Then a security officer came over and pulled the worker away."

 

They two security officers followed my buddy around for about a mile on the strip and he sent me a picture of them standing behind him, watching them.

I'm not saying your buddy is full of it but just think about the story for a minute. Members of the CIA or some other secret government agency had a regular maintenance guy cover up evidence then just let him go back to work planting bushes. Now keep in mind this guy was tortured for info but was simply asked by some tourist walking down the side walk what he knew.

The sad thing is this is how these theories gain traction. We were watching some stuff the other day at work and one guy pulled up a video from InfoWars. They had a guy call in saying was in Vegas and how there were 5 shooters and telling all of these things to back up his story like it was fact. They asked him if was close to the scene and he said "yeah, like 4 miles away". They ran with everything he said like it was fact. This idiot was talking about the shots he could hear and how no way it was one shooter. Also talking about all the stuff he was hearing on a police scanner. Can you imagine what a police scanner would sound like when this was going on.

It is certainly suspicious that three weeks later we still have hardly any more information. I do not believe there is some giant government conspiracy. I do however believe there is more to this story and perhaps more than just one person involved. Not a second a shooter, but an accomplice of some kind. If the alleged lone gunman who did this entirely on his own is dead then there is no reason to withhold all the information for so long from the public, because there is no impending trial that would be compromised.

There's people that are determined to make almost every major event a conspiracy theory regardless of the facts. It's just in some people's DNA, I suppose.

 

JFK, Roswell, moon landings, .....and on and on....

 

I watched a Netflix documentary recently by some nutcase named Bart Sibrel who proclaimed the moon landing to be a hoax. He gave a lot of so-called evidence which was all a slanted, one-sided nonsense based on dubious and misleading material, the majority which was simply flat out lies and distortions. And of course he didn't have any 'other side of the story' in his documentary. NASA and other scientific organizations have soundly debunked him with proof of the landings and answered and explained all his accusations but he still continues on and has many followers and believers.

His antics led to him being punched in the choppers by a 70-something year old Buzz Aldrin an few years ago when he got in his face at an event and accused the former astronaut of being "a coward, a liar, and a thief."

 

So this Sibrel fellow will always believe the moon landing to be a hoax regardless of how much proof of the landings he is shown. And so will others.

I suppose they also think the Russians are in on it too, since they haven't joined the conspiracy party to expose the Americans, who were really great friends and comrades back in the Cold War days, :lol2:.

 

It's similar to the JKF assassination by Oswald. I saw on the news where Trump is going to allow for the release of all the files. But it won't matter. If the new material offers complete evidence and proof of a lone assassin the conspiracy crowd will still say, "Well, they've released this material....but what else are they hiding that we don't know about." :ohbrother:There's no use debating with most of this gang. They've already made their minds up and no one is going to confuse them with the facts.
